Check out some of the business proposals, analyses of strategy, and data-driven recommendations I've made below.

Using my background in data science, market research, and product design, I've led multiple projects that are making an impact. Some of my notable pieces of work can be found below. All slide decks, reports, and content was created by me. Some of the research discussed in these projects were supported by team members as well; in these instances, my teammates' names are cited.

Bakhita Butter: a social good brand benefitting girls in Uganda

After four months of ethnographic research and an iterative design-thinking process, Bakhita Butter was born. Bakhita Butter, unlike other peanut butter brands, is a sustainable economic solution for students at Saint Bakhita's, an all-girls boarding school in Uganda, who are seeking to gain entrepreneurial experience and help pay for their education. This project was the initial pitch deck for the brand; currently, the butter will be sold in African and US Markets, with profits covering the cost of tuition for the girls, among other projects.

Pinterest's expansion into the influencer marketing and eCommerce space

Two separate deliverables, the presentation deck proposes a strategic short-term plan for Pinterest to capture more of the influencer marketing space to obtain more advertising accounts.

The downloadable report analyses Pinterest's recent strategic shift to an eCommerce space and how this will play out for the company.

Business Analysis with Data

The following projects specifically use company-provided data or market data to draw insights and create strategic recommendations based off of these insights. Analyses were created using Python, Salesforce, or Tableau.

Using Kroger data from 84.51 to develop a coupon strategy for Maybelline Cosmetics

Using a provided dataset from 84.51, my team was tasked with creating a coupon strategy -- any kind of coupon strategy -- for their account, Kroger. After sifting through the dataset, insights revealed the opportunity to adopt a coupon strategy for one of Kroger's brands, Maybelline. Our recommendation outlines the demographic and channels that should be used.

Creative Best Practices for targeting Gen X audiences on Pinterest

Using company and market data, I established a resource guide for advertisers to use when building their ad creative, specifically advertisers trying to target Gen X audiences. This guide reviews the purchasing habits of Gen X, how they interact on Pinterest, what their top four verticals are, and how you can capture their attention using thoughtful choices when designing ads.
